Brakes for one-hander?

Hi all,
There was a review on bikeradar a few days ago for a brake system (I think road) which applied both front and rear at the same time.
The reviewer said it looked good, but probably only of real use for a one-handed cyclist. Well, one of my friends has only one arm and currently road and MTB rides with a single brake, so this would be of interest to him.
I can't for the life of me find the review now - can any one point me in the right direction?
PS He also sails Lasers - impressive watching him rig the boat (including getting the mast in) literally single-handed!
Stands by to be embarrassed by oh-so-obvious search results...

Well I'm not the resident expert on this but I have seen many inexpensive kids bikes that combine both brake cables into one lever by using a simple 2 into 1 cable junction. My guess is that some LBS's that sell inexpensive and kids bikes would have a piece like this to hookup your cables and should be very inexpensive as well. Also, here is a link to another forum for special needs cyclists that might be helpful. http://www.bikeforums.net/forumdisplay. ... ther-Needs0
