Hi

What purpose does the rubber bung on look cleats serve.

    Some shoes allow you to put a screw through that bung and attach it to the sole of the shoe. When you replace the cleats, they stay in place and you put the new cleats over them (without the bungs) and bolt them in place. Et voilà! You're new cleats are in exactly the same place as the old ones.
