I'd be genuinely interested to find out the guidelines for charging someone with "sending a grossly offensive public electronic communication." as I think there are probably a good number of posters on here who's fall foul of that one, I know I would, several times a day.0 -

Good god, I've seen far worse than that on here!
Mind you, I was thinking about this earlier today, and I guess it depends where it was posted. It says "facebook", but I've not seen WHERE on facebook.
If it was somewhere like the crudcatcher page, then it's completely rediculous. If it was posted on one of her families pages, or the official "sympathies" page or something, then I can understand how it would be taken a bit more seriously.
I still think jail time is OTT of course, but I guess it needs to be in context.0 -
