Bottom bracket spindle size Cannondale 700 2001

Hi,

Per the title, am looking to find out the spindle length for the cartridge BB bearing for a Cannondale 700 Adventure ca. 2001.

It's a Shimano cartridge BB (LP-27 as supplied. but will go for UN-55 on replacing), 68mm English thread, square taper, but without removing it I cannot be sure of the spindle length. Think it's 110mm, but not sure.

Anyone know, so I can order before dismantling?

    find out what the cranks are as that will determine the axle length.

    They're 'Cannondale' although they are stamped 'Japan' on the back of each...

    Not sure how this helps me...?

    or wait till you get the cranks on.
