Not a great deal of logic in that site. Roads were not built for cars, they were build for feet, then horses and carriage and the bicycle is also the late arrival.
The fact is while they were not built for cars originally, they are now built for cars now.
We'd all like to live in a world where everyone could walk or cycle to work, but the reality is that many people need to drive for their income. There is an interesting parody sight taking the pee out of T2000 and the like which i think brings perspective.
