Is it worth paying anymore than 99p on ebay for Jagwire gear cable?
Is Teflon coated worth the extra?

No. Stainless inners, add your own lube.0

I was under the impression the Teflon isn't lube, it's like my frying pan?0

It's still designed to be low friction as an alternative to lube. Nobody said it was lube.0

I have BB routed cables and use the Teflon coated as I find less mud sticks to it, you can't lube that bit (and expect it to stay lubed anyway!)Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

My race bike has a set of XTR cables that've done 6 seasons. Worth the extra money as long as you keep them clean.0
