Morning All
Up early to go into Rotherham to collect forks which ParcelForce had sent to Liverpool by mistake and I'd been told had been rerouted to get in to Rothehams' sorting depot last night so I could collect this morning.
Except they are now back in Coventry!!!! WTF!!! at the National Hub where no doubt they'll be sent to Falkirk
No finish off building bike this weekend and I'm back at work Monday for 2 weeks so no forks either.
Think I'll just cancel order and let Rutland have them back.Better than sitting on doorstep for a fortnight.I'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!

Morning space wasters,
Slept in my own bed last night. Just not quite for long enough. Got up and went for a run, first time in ages. 3.3 miles in 45 minutes is a bit pathetic, probably could've walked it faster but got to start somewhere. Also got some bad news, old bloke down the road died. Gonna have to get my tomatos somewhere else now.
Anyway, time for a bacon based reward for this mornings efforts then off to a bike event thing in the toon.

Morning Losers!
Went to a stupidly expensive cocktail bar 'in' Manchester (it was 2 miles outside the centre, which isn't 'in' Manchester in my books!) and they didn't even know how to make a White Russian! They said they had a offer on 'Whisky and coke' so I took it. Pah, it was JD and coke, and the ratios of coke to JD were not in my favour.
However, my stomach doesn't like me today. Think I mixed too many drinks. So todays plans are to relax, take life easy and maybe go to the cinema tonight.
Laters! It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Evening mongs!
Woke up at 4.30 am, couldn't get back to sleep. Had a bad time killing our two chickens, thought the first was dead but it started runnin round when I popped the others neck, ended up just pulling its head off. Took terrierist for a walk and he decided to jump into the salt marshes so he stinks (still). Papered youngests bedroom, nightmare none of the walls or corners are square. Managed to get the glue off the model b wheelset but the gears on the PX team have gone out of sync and the usual tweaks aren't working, new cables need to go on which mean re wrapping the bars. Scwalbe tyres all seem to be splitting as well, put new Blizzard set on and they're farked, RR Dual Defence on the 456 have gone the same. All this whilst youngest and eldest have been acting out the fall of Stalingrad most of the day - constant fighting and screaming interspersed with tense silence.
Good points - I have wine and curry, lights are charging for the morning and I have learnt that cooked Stilton gives the best dreams ever.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

cnut never got back to me about the rockhopper. Honestly, how long does it take to just say "sorry, bike is now sold", or even better, TAKE THE FCUKING AD DOWN!
Back to the drawing board.
Anyone know of anyone looking to offload a bike on the cheap? road or MTB, suitable for turbo duties and a short commute. £200 tops. (posted)?0 -
Evening crudmunchers.
I've ridden the Coed y Brenin enduro today, now I'm knackered. Oh, and I was "spotted" by Angrybird from this 'ere forum, but I wasn't in much of a state to talk.

Kind of, he said he recognised the bike. The green bits were still visibly green at that point.0

Stalking pro over here
I was just riding along thinking how much I hate mud when I noticed the bike I was following had a bright green brake glaring at me looking annoyingly clean. I was sure I'd seen one somewhere before on a photo or something, then after a couple of minutes remembered... goes to show, be careful what you post on interwebz, there's always some complete mong with too much time on his hands0 -
