Morning all ! (that sounds like Dixon of dock Green's insomniac brother)

Going to the cycle show at the nec tomorrow with my son & wondering if anyone has any heads up on great stands, must sees, anyone selling kit at daft prices etc?

Thanks in advance :D

You'll be able to get around every stand anyway without missing anything... a 'taking our time' 4 hours got us round absolutely everything today that we wanted to see as roadies, including stopping for good while at a few stands where we wanted to really quiz people on a few things.

Oh, one thing people were pointing out though is Energy Drinks and Recovery Drinks will all be subject to 20% VAT from Monday onwards so its worth picking a bit up if its something you use a lot of.

I suggest not drinking very free sample of energy drink that's going though or you will come out feeling a bit sick :)

I went today and no real discounts anywhere sorry.

It is really was an "eye candy" show, in particular the "Colnago" and the "Pinarello" stands.............

I could post some photos, but it is hardcore bikeporn

It was a great show to get your hands of stuff and touch and feel the stuff you usually only see in catalogues.

And as has been mentioned above, a great chance to ask questions to the manufacturers directly.

Nice show but nothing special really.

A quick note... anyone buying zipvit stuff, wiggle have offers on all the bars cheaper than at the show, zipvit weren't selling their drinks I dont think and Zipvit ZV1 drink is down to £11.89 a tub on Wiggle.
