Morning Losers!

TFI Friday! Things at work are settling down after a week or two of hell. Figuring out code is quite satisfying, then implementing it is a bit of an ar$e though. That's todays plan anyway.

This evening I'm off into Manchester to celebrate a Birthday. Will only be there a couple of hours though, as the trams from Manchester to Bury stop around midnight, which is lame. Never mind, I'll probably be ready to leave after a couple of hours.

Laters!

    morning all,

great time last night riding CC DH track..even on my hardtail i had a blast 8)

a mate was there taking pics and he has a tri-copter with a go pro attached so there's hopefully some cool videos aswell.

today is going to be a crap day in work, a test call to 8 different countries, then another test call to 8 different countries with antiquated, shite equipment which i know will be wrong because no one asked me what should be specced, but i'll still get the blame....

ah well..it is friday and i'm on holiday next week...woo hoo :D

i can't see how you do that drive every week..i've done it once and it took 5 and half hours and it sucked...
  • Once again Friday is here and there are only 3 ½ hours of 'work' left.

No plans yet for the weekend except some sport this afternoon and some beer this evening.

It has been a cake free week as cake making minion is claiming to be poorly. I’m starting to waste away.

    Onwards to cake free tea.

    Later……

I know that feeling. If it plugs in somewhere then for some reason it's my responsibilty.

    Morning clinker flickers,

It's Friday before a week off. Off to center parcs next week, taking the bikes so might try to get out for a decent ride in the lakes if the weather is good. Just got to decide which bike to take. Got loads to do to catch up and leave my sites in good order for cover next week so off to find somewhere for a nap as I "slept" on the floor again last night.

  • It is Friday but not properly for 6 hours and I cant get to sleep......I just seem to be 100% awake which is crap as I know I wont be come 8am!

Work will be 8 hours of blah and meh - then evening on the beers, ride on Saturday, possibly golf too then work Sunday, monday tuesday then home to UK for couple of weeks friends family, tearful reunite with my Cove hardtail (more tearful if the forks, frame, tyre or any other part of it are f*cked from sitting in a shed for 18 months as I have a Quantocks and a N Wales ride planned!). I shall spend my sleepless night working out what I need to bring home I think.

    Morning Gits,

Up way too early to take junior to her last 11+ exam, so we can relax a bit after this. Just sitting at home supping coffee before headed back to collect her later. Weather for the weekend is looking dry so I can feel a bike session coming on - been way too long since I was out on 2 wheels.

    Morning Feisty One's,

Not been a bad week up until today, where work has gone stupid busy. Consultant estimated a job at 14 hours but when I got the spec it's more like 45 hours. Either way, it's my fault and it's got to be finsihed by Monday....They're having a giraffe. Long gone are the days where I'd worry about it though.

Shopping to Cardiff on Saturday for eldest to spend his birthday monday. Sunday it's out for a meal with the family, whcih should be fun :)

    Morning Scuttlers

I iz on nights one last time tonight and also the end of 12 straight days working, 11 till 7 tonight but its just a shed turn which means

A, I can drive in and turn up half hour late as I have travel time

B, Friday is curry night which as the shed man drives in he darks of to fetch it meaning more alive for me

C, hopefully get away at 5 instead of 7 when the morning man comes in.

This will be gratefully received as my creators are coming down tomorrow and were off to the opera which is one of favourite things, even better that I'm in a box

However putting a spanner in all of this is still my mouth aids meaning all I ate yesterday were soup, weetabix and protein drinks

Well you wondered how you were so relaxed in Gloucester travelodge, so much so that you missed breakfast, even with John Belushi thundering up and down the corridor

Got a fella working out of the Guildford office who lives near Newcastle. Drives back and forth every week. Regularly takes him over 10 hours.

Luckly for him he's just found another job - 8 miles from his house.

  • All win Friday.

Work have agreed that I can have a iPhone 5, iPad and another £4k of training. Plus the MD agrees that I'm not -ve, I'm the only one who makes sure the company isn't full of yes men. Plus I can employ another 3 people.

  • Evening homos.

sadly I've had to decide not to race at the DH tomorrow. The knee is still not 100%, still finding it hard to turn the pedals properly and I suspect this would not bode well in a race.

On the bright side, I've got my eye on another bike. Will be used for the turbo and commuting duties, plus light XC though winter when I cba taking out the reed. It's an 07 rockhopper and it's in excellent nick. Hopefully it's still for sale. bargaintastic at £200.

    Head ditch backwards

Half 4 shunt bloke has turned up meaning one of us finishing at 7 can fark off early once the next bunch of moves were done. The lazy fark buggered off after moving one unit instead of coming and flipping to see who goes. This means I've just flipped as I've got to stay here now until 7. His card is marked
