Wiggle had a load in their price drop section. Still looks overpriced.

  • I've just bought the LS windproof jersey and the windproof bib tights. The bibs feel incredible when you put them on and I actually preferred the fit and feel of the jersey to the Assos stuff I tried on earlier that day. At £82 for a set of bib tights like this you can't go wrong!
  • Amazing - just ordered a pair bib tights and a jacket. Thanks for ze heads-up.

  • How is the sizing? Similar to Assos?

.. but not anywhere near as good I'd wager, they obviously can't shift 'em.

One thing to consider is that Cipollini girl is far hotter than Assos girl !!

  • I see no red Saeco tops, it can't be the real Cipollini gear!

I'm pretty much a small in everything, these included. I like my jerseys as quite a tight fit though and I probably could have got away with XS in Assos so maybe size up. They thought i'd need a medium but I preferred the small. I've just done my first ride in them and they are good stuff. The windproof jersey is reasonably waterproof too! I didn't feel any wet on the jacket although there was a little bit of spray on the back of the bibs. Obviously a bit early to tell how long they last but I doubt you'll feel disappointed with the purchase.
  • Thank's for the heads up, didn't buy any of Tuscany's finest but did get a Pearl izumi waterproof at 70% off, smashing.

Is it just me or do the mens Cippolini LS tops look like black bustiers with a white long sleeve shirt underneath ?
I don't mean to brag, I don't mean to boast, but I'm intercontinental when I eat French toast...

Thats exactly what I realised that stopped me being tempted!! You could paint a couple of half nipples peeping out over the black section.

Just received the items!! I never spent that much on clothing but I don't wear the cheapest stuff too... However, the Cipollini are just amazing, fit is perfect (190cm/78kg and XL) and the quality of the bibs is just brilliant! can't recommend more enough for the discounted price... :D so happy! :D

I was thinking the same - Really nice fit and quality. The size charts were spot on too - luckily...

If they're this good in the saddle, I might have to go back for the bib shorts.

Hi guys, what's the chamois like on this kit? Do they use the same one throughout the range? I'm tempted by the C148 winter tights. Was looking for unpadded ones to go over my Assos bibs as I've found anything as comfortable, are they comparable?

Always best off getting unpadded winter tights IMO.

    It was majorcajeff!

I know unpadded tights are better for using your favourate shorts year round, but it's tough forking out the same money for no chamois! Looks like I better make my mind up quick...
  • they just emailed me and said they got stock level wrong and my order not fulfilled so it wasnt me!!!!!!! bollox as i wanted them. i wanted xl in white but they said no can do, so ive gone for black. bugger but still good at the price!
  • Does anyone know how warm the winter jacket and windproof tights are? Great buy but not sure if they'll be enough for minus celsius weather?

What's the sizing like inte bibs ? I'm a 30" waist, normally small or medium, wondering if I can squeeze into a small ?
  • Got the bibtights in XL (thinking that they'd be very Italian). In fact they're very British in that they are way too big (I am a 35" waist). And way way way too long, got to be 5 inches of folded up at the bottom!

They are nice. Probably worth £70 but not worth £150.

So, they are going back. (Oh and they don't look like the pic on cyclestore, there's no Spiderman esque side material which I assume must be the windproof ones).

    Facebook? No. Just say no.
  • Mine arrived today very impressed. Ive always had santini and Moa. Nice quality have to say the pad does not look special but the proof will be in the riding. I wanted white but they sent me black but hey ho. I bought an XL in the more expensive ones in the end as they sold out and couldnt fulfill the order. As said above before worth £70 but much more im not sure. Smart packaging and a little bag but thumbs up as ive always had team kit it will be nice to have a apair of plain shorts to match up to my numerous tops ive not been able to wear yet. I will order a white pair now i think.
