Whyte 46 BB Replacement

Hi guys,
I ride a Whyte 46 2005 model. The bike is still going strong and I am still really enjoying it.
Unfortunately, the bottom bracket seems to have developed a creek which is very frustrating. I want to upgrade the BB to something which is more heavy duty as I am 6'4" and 105KG.
Would anyone have any good recommendations?

What type of BB is on there now.I don't do smileys.

It is a Shimano XT Big Pipe Billet intergrated with crankset on there just now.Dave0

Is it the original? 7yrs is very good going for an external BB. Just replace it with another SLX/XT.0
