Old bike chains where can i get some?

I looking into doing a project at home over the winter and am looking for lots of old bike chains (knackered as not beign used for a bike) any idea where I can get some or a load as im going to need quite a few?? any ideas? thanks

    i want to make a piece of art. welding them together. will have to have a punt round the local shops on the island.

    if you pay postage or can get to me (near coventry) then i've got two you can have and will have a third when i can be arsed to change my current one, or when my shifting is worse than my laziness!!

    thanks for the offer i think i have found somehwere i can buy lengths of it for not much cost but its cheap as its no good for bikes. thanks
