Ive got an Orange P7 frame, currently stripped down, was thinking of getting a 29er reba fork, wheel etc.. and converting the bike from 26er to 69er.

Anyone else done this, anything i should look out for? guessing if i run at 100mm travel instead of the 125/140 i ran it on before shouldn't be any other problems?

Why not?? really fancy trying a 29er but can't justify another bike in the flat, oh would probably leave me lol!!

Or i could sell the p7 and all its kit, hhmm theres a thought.

You'll need to reduce the travel of the fork by about 100mm to keep the axle to crown the same (at normal sag position) and therfore the Geo the same - and not risk mullering the frame as well.

Most people who go 69 on a 26er use rigid forks so it's easy to keep the a-c the same.
