Recently purchased a Bianchi road bike which I'm delighted with but would like to change the bar tape as it uncomfortable & also dirty already being white in colour, I would prefer black!
I would be very grateful if anyone could possibly send me some links or suggestions for the most comfortable/padded bar tape out there please.

Fizik Microtex is my favourite. I prefer unpadded which might not suit you given your 'uncomfortable' comment, although I think they do a padded version. Best thing about Microtex? - The white version hardly gets dirty and is really easy to clean.0

Bontrager gel tape is really comfy.0

Deda cork tape has worked nicely for me, but I'm thinking about trying Specialized. My mitts are 7 years old and in need of retirement though, so that doesn't massively help my perception of comfort.0

I use Easton tape as it's nice but always put some Cinelli gel pads underneath.
