After much umming and arring and weeks of research I was just about set on driving to either Birmingham or Reading to pick up a Rockrider 5.3 - but I came across this instead, £275 and 20 mins drive from me.
I'm now the chuffed owner of a Giant Talon 0.
Helmet ordered and I can now take my Giant ATX apart and sell on the bits I bought last month. Bonus.

Just got back from the inaugural ride up over the hill near me then back down through the roads of sunny Brizzle. I kept thinking the chain was going to ping off or something like that - the only thing in any danger of breaking though was me. I'm bloody unfit!
Really nice ride though. A few more of those and I'll be looking to explore a little further. Forest of Dean is on the cards I reckon.
The cranks a bit creaky, looking to replace the BB asap. Just ordered a work stand from fleabay as the missus didn't appreciate me using her exercise bike last time
