Hi
Bought a used 7 speed triple mtb off of ebay last week, been giving it a service yesterday before i take it out and realised the rear cassette needs changing and possibly hub as well.
There are no markings on it so not sure which make cassette or hub it needs, all i know is that its 26" wheels
The bike s a Mach Super Mountain Bike as the frame sticker says
Below is a picture of it, if anyone has any info that would be great
Thanks

so what are you actually asking?
is it a cassette or a freewheel?
want to know how to remove either read this http://www.parktool.com/blog/repair-hel ... el-removal"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

i guess dismantling it will tell me if its a freewheel or cassette0

Best just to look.0

just took a pic, its a 6 speed rather than a 7, 14-28
looks like a freewheel or i may be wrong, how easy would it be to convert this to a freehub? in otherwords, what would i need?

Why do you think the hub and yes, that's a freewheel, need changing?0

i am not 100% sure if it actually needs changing
when spinning the wheel the cassette seems to be wobbling by a couple of millimeters,
the other thing is that its rather loud compared to my road bike0 -
Nothing to concern yourself with.0

If it works, leave it. Many have a wobble, (in fact all I have seen!), doesn't mean anything unless is actually loose.0
