Does anyone know which manufacturers/retailers sell high prescription sunglasses?

Ideally, I'd like some Oakleys, but it seems they only go up to +2.0.
My prescription is +2.75, +3.25

Create an account with this company and when prompted enter your prescription and then when you're logged in you should only be able to see glasses suitable/available for your prescription.

    http://www.rxsport.co.uk/

I nearly bought some Rudy Projects from them but my local Vision Express came up trumps with some specs at a good price.

  • +/-3 isn't what I'd call a high prescription; I'm -6/-7' and know people with worse vision.

But higher strength lenses can be trickier to fit into the rx insert that some sports glasses/goggles take. I know that with my prescription and face geometry, it's pretty much a non-starter - the lenses end up pressing against my eyelids making blinking impossible! Instead I have to look for frames that can take a prescription lens directly. Oakleys are out (prescription strength, as you say), but Optilabs do a range that are both reasonably "wrap-around" and take a prescription lens. I'm happy with my pair.
They use their cars as shopping baskets; they use their cars as overcoats.
  • I'm +3.0 and +1.75 on one eye and use a company called Cilary Blue to make me some prescription reaction lenses for some Oakley Jawbones. The price for these was at least half the price of Oakleys. The lenses feel different as they are more curved that conventional glass lenses.
  • I've had good service from buynewspecs.ie - option of high RI lens to educe thickness.

I got mine from http://www.optilabs.com/. I've used them for a few months now without any problems, pretty good customer service too when I was ordering.

My prescription is similar to yours and went to Vision Express for mine.
  • I got mine from http://www.rapideyewear.co.uk/ been using them for a while now, after receiving poor service from other companies, I would reccommend them.
