Hi there,
I'm about to build a bike for the mrs, it's also the first time i've built a bike so please be gentle .
The frame i'm using is the GT Avalanche 1.0 2012.
My problem and query is ref the headset, i need to source a headset that's correct for the frame but when i searched for the bike for sale online i get 2 conflicting answers, here are the links to what i mean:
http://www.sunsetmtb.co.uk/shop/index.p ... ct_id=1860
They list the headset as an FSA No.10 Zerostack
http://www.tredz.co.uk/.GT-Avalanche-1- ... _48492.htm
They list the headset as an FSA No.11N Zerostack
I downloaded the FSA technical manual which lists all of their headsets with the sizes, technical drawings etc and they list many headsets for a 50/44 OD/ID frame.
The official GT website lists it as a No.11N.
Could someone give me options on which headsets will definately fit my frame please.
Thanks in advance,
Dave.
