Pearl Jam - Ten
Got some Avenged on right now. Listened to Ten in the car earlier today. I've been hitting the overtime quite drastically for the last few months and seem to have fallen for Pink Floyd as a relax-a-thon when I get home from work, as well as My morning Jacket (thanks, in part, to Hayley in American Dad).
I can get onboard with the Pink Floyd mood. Sometimes its just all that works. Ten might well be a daily album for me right now. And for the first few months after release the Avenged new album was too. Had to scale it back though to avoid sickening myself of it. Currently relaxing to the tones of Alter Bridge. Myles K has an astounding voice.0 -
Sadly I'm in a hotel bar in Inverness listening to a load of twats talking way louder than they need to. Shut the fawk up, guys. Even worse, they're all a lot bigger than me.Is the gorilla tired yet?0

Doing some work on the computer at home and had a look through what's been on 6 music recently. Terry Hall's show from Sunday afternoon and he played Ode to Billy Joe by Bobby Gentry. It's off a country album by the looks of it, but actually very good.0

Some jazz...
I don't like jazz...

I've embarked on a Tour de Krautrock lately and these guys in particular take me back to the age of about 15 when I was watching Herzog films on BBC2 on Saturday nights instead of going out and getting pie-eyed and un-laid like everyone else claimed to be (Inbetweener style).
Anyhow, bugger me if Grooveshark ain't my go-to for the moment."Consider the grebe..."0 -

Again, I can't really recommend the new release enough by these guys. It's pretty much incredible.

My back catalogue of Free records...nice.
Hard to believe that when they headlined the IOW festival they were still kids. Andy Fraser's bass work is still moving, right now. And when the lead kicks in on "I'll be creeping" it still raises the hairs on my neck.Ecrasez l’infame0 -

Listening to Sharon Van Etten's latest album the moment. Very good release.
This one is still her best from the 'Tramp' album though
