Best time for cut price bikes

I'm planning to spend £800-£1000 on a road bike in the new year. I'm not bothered to have the latest model.

When should I expect to find the best offers on the 2012 bikes and the new ones are released for 2013?

Many 2013 bikes are already on the market, so I would think now is a good time. I bought a reduced 2012 demo model two months ago, so the sales started a while back.
