Avid Elixir R Brakes

I bought these brakes second hand, they both came with 160mm rotors however I have a couple of problems.
1. My front fork is IS mount and the caliper is Post, is this the right adapter I need (when it says post to IS does that mean fork to caliper or caliper to fork?) :

2. The rear hose is about 8 inches too long. Both need bleeding anyway so I might aswel shorten the hose whilst I'm at it. I bought an Avid Bleed kit but presumably I'll need the connections for the end of the hose once I've cut it?
This is how it looks now but I can't really tell what I need, the vids on youtube show a threaded barb that can be wound in with a torques bit but this doesn't seem to have a star shape inside it to wind it out?
3. Both levers were scratched on top but being reversible I swapped them, disconnecting both hoses at the levers, will I need to replace the olive on the front brake now too?

I can only really answer the first question, but yes, that is the correct adaptor. I assume you still have all the little washers as well? They're important for spacing out and aligning the caliper.0

Yeah I've got loads of the little washers. Cool I'll get the adapter.
I've taken the plunge and cut the hose and disassembled the barb/olive to reveal this:
Do you think a threaded barb will do in its place:

And for the olive CRC only do the Juicy one, will it be the same, it looks the same:
