Miche Performance Replacement Pads

Hello,

After a bit of help on pad replacements, I have a pair of Miche Performance Brakes as shown on the link below:
http://www.wiggle.co.uk/miche-performan ... liper-set/

They came as stock on the bike and they are pretty bad IMO, that being said they are much better in the wet than my 105's.... so I'm looking to replace the pads as the first upgrade for improving the braking performance on the one bike.

.... but I have no idea which pads to order, I would be looking at SwissStop but I'm unsure if I need the SwissStop Race 2000/Pro Brake Pads for Campag or perhaps the SwissStop Flash Pro Green Brake Blocks (Full Cartridge Options) :?

Here are some links for the replacements I've been looking at:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,

Jason

I would suspect there are rebranded Tektro jobs and therefore would take a Shimano fit brake shoe. Measure the width of the brake pad slot in the caliper arm - Campagnolo are 6mm and Shimano a bit narrower. Fitting Shimano shoes in a Campagnolo brake arm isn't advised.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
  • I will give it a go, thank you for the info Monty Dog.

  • I know this is a bit of a thread revival, but google brought me to it so ...

I bought some Miche Performance brakes as replacements for the Condor branded ones fitted to my Condor Fratello. The Condor ones were looking quite tired and shabby after nearly 7 years of use.

The pads which come with the Miche Performance are all in one blocks which aren't that great. So I thought I would reuse the pads (and holders) from my previous brakes - I seem to think they were Swissstop black.

Problem is that they don't fit very well - I think the pad holders must be Campag and so, based on the comments in this thread, the bolt is slightly wider than the slot it goes through. So it looks like I need different holders (and pads) to fit the new brakes. I fancy Swissstop again but I can't seem to buy pad holders by themselves - I have to buy pads with them and Swissstop don't seem to sell pads and holders together.

Hope that makes sense? Any suggestions on some good quality pads which come with holders?

    Cheers

I've found this lot good for holders. I just by the sets with the basic pads, loose the pads and then buy swissstops to fit in them.

I think I used a set of Kool Stop pads and holders.

If you look at sites like Bike-Discount then they should sell the Swiss Stop pads and holders.
