I've decided to buy a Scott Scale 29 Elite but need help to decide wich frame size to get? I'm 5' 11" with an inseem of 33-34" and my leg torso ratio is 1:1.Im just in between Large and Medium and have been to a few different LBS and the all give me different answers.

So i hope to get som advice or experience here on what size to get. I will use it as an allround bike but mostly xc and single track.

  • I've tried both sizes but just cant decide. I like the M it feels agile but maybe a bit short. Both might be ok but thats why i want some head on advice?

go back to the shop and ask their advise. they'll be able to see your position on the bike and advise better.

Or take a (riding) mate..... Although as a rule of thumb in an MTB, if in doubt buy the smaller.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
