New frame of new forks?

I am in the position of wanting to change something on my current bike. Just got a new job and on my first pay check I want to treat myself. I currently have a Giant Talon that I've built up to be a pretty damn good tail bike. It currently has 100mm Rockshox Recon silver forks and other components that are about that level (sort of mid range, pretty good trail stuff) I would like to change both but can't justify the cost. I find the forks great but I run out of travel quite quickly and the frame is amazing but too stiff and harsh for long rides/throwing it downhill.
Anyway I was thinking of getting either:
- An One-On Inbred frame and just transfer all the bits over or...
- Some better forks with 120-140mm travel and keep the Talon frame. Say 120mm Rebas
I can't decide and I just want a few opinions on what'd make the most difference. Generally I ride trails with the odd bit of pretty hardcore stuff.
Thanks.

No point changing if you will not see the benefit, and with the onone you will be getting a cheaper, heavier frame. OK if you like the geometry though.
I'd get some RS Revelations and drop the travel to 130mm.0 -
This. And get yourself a fatter tyre to make the frame feel smoother. The talon isn't that stiff.A Flock of Birds

And the Inbred isn't that smooth either. +1 on better forks and maybe tyres.0 -
Cheers, I'm thinking the same TBH. I already have Rubber queens 2.2s on and I love them, might go Maxxis Minion front though. Revelations would be my first choice, if I can find some used for under £250.0
