Should I use hot or cold spray to treat a clalf strain?
Should I stop riding, ease up a bit or carry on through the pain? :?

It's very rare to strain your calf, it's more likely you've pulled your tricep (not the one in your arm, google leg tricep) if this is the case it should take vary long to heal but you will need to stretch it gently but regularly until it has and then once it's better you need to pay attention to stretching it quiet vigorously before you exercise on itOne plays football, tennis or golf, one does not play at cycling0 -
If you're referring to Deep Heat and Deep Freeze, the latter is to be used as soon as an injury occurs (it helps to stop swelling and inflamtion just like an ice batch after intensive exercise would). Whereas, the former is for longer term use (but stinks to high heaven!).
As the other poster suggested though, RICE is always the way forward as an injury is not going to heal if you keep aggravating it with more exrecise.Reporter: "What's your prediction for the fight?"
