Quick Garmin 500 Question

I have set up some workouts on my Garmin 500. I know how to start them, but to record the training session (on a turbo) do I also need to start the timer like I do for a new ride? Or do I just start the workout and the timer will also start?

Just start the timer as you would normally. You will need the speedo on your back wheel it will notice the speed going up. Just press start and off you go.0

Thanks - I have a speed sensor on the back wheel. So I just start the ride as normal then go to workout and start that?0

Yep. It should work out you are moving as the back wheel moves. Just ignore the GPS part of things. I'm pretty sure it just works as normal.
No strava segments on the turbo though.....0 -
Turn your GPS off.All the above is just advice .. you can do whatever the f*ck you wana do!
