short cage mech and 27t cassette

got a dura ace 7700 short cage rear will it handle a 27t cassette(i have a hilly ride next month) chainrings are 39-53 :?

    It'll handle a 28t too - SS rear mech capacity = 30t ie. (53-39)+(28-12)
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
