its ive got the best light time!!

going to work this morning and yes its sad to say its getting darker :( and its that time of year as to who has the brightest and most flashing light i know we have to be seen dont get me wrong but i didnt know weather a train was comming at one point or a flying saucer! does make me laugh though but some people do take it seriously :D

  • If it commuting just get something to be seen with that flashes...

    For this winter off reading I've just ordered 2 1600 Lumen flood lights... But even one of these would be way too much for commuting... ( MJ-872 )

    Why? Commutes vary massively.

    My commute is slightly more civilised now, but used to take me out through unlit, fast country roads and unlit, twisty country lanes. Having loads of light means cars know you're there before they can see you round a corner, it also means that you can see the road you're riding on.

    You do have to be careful not to be antisocial though.

    In terms of blinding people, I think my 3t6 torch is up there, a theoretical output of just under 3000 lumens :D
    Probably more like 1600 in the real world, but its still bright 8)
