After a lot of debate and some heated discussions with my boss surrounding my new bike I finally decided to, like many, go down the Canyon street.

I sacrificed the Carbon frame for Di2 and after a short number of miles on it due to other commitments I think I made the right decision. Its a dream to ride, I am noticeably working less to get the same results.

Is this the same, wait it's a new one? No it can't be - maybe it is? There's so many of these!!!!!!

That doesn't mean they don't look amazing however.

      Road - Dolan Preffisio
      MTB - On-One Inbred

I have no idea what's going on here.
    • Get the dork disc off <ok>
    • That was purely on for the first ride in case there was an issue and it had to be returned. It has long since been made into a frisbee

Love the bike SG, could you tell me if it's a medium frame and if so, how tall you are? I want to place my order soon but seem to come slap bang between a sm and med (5'11") Thanks!
    • Its a M, the PPS system worked out pretty well. I'm 6 foot but all arms and legs.

For reference 5ft6 and I ride the S, fits perfect, I think it would be too small though at 5 11.
    • Kill the pie plate

Don't put a bike in the granny gear and expect it to look cool - 53 x 14 or 15 looks best.

      Boardman computer?

      Isn't it a bit black?
      When a cyclist has a disagreement with a car; it's not who's right, it's who's left.
    • Didn't appreciate there was photograph etiquette here- I shall up my game.

As I said "the pie plate" is gone- this was left on till after the first ride incase there was problems.

Boardman computer was a gift from the wife and does the job for now.

A bit black? I think it looks fantastic- like a bike Batman would ride!
    • well i managed to vault the handlebars this morning as some boy racer c*nt ran a straight red light (no amber me going through on green) forcing me to emergency stop...bike seems ok but for i seem to have bent the rear mech hanger and am now stuck on 107 gear inches... can anyone point me in the direction of the correct mech hanger replacement for ultimate al 2012 (i cant find anything on the canyon website)...is it number 14 perchance??? or does someone have a spare they could show me a pic of for comparison as i know that there are duplicates available...i'll contact canyon in time...but as it is sunday thought i'd try here first....
