Just thought I'd see if this would help anyone else after a winter trainer, Alpine Bikes are selling the above for £420, although being Trek, they wont post and unless you live way up north, not ideal to go and collect.

Just got a price match from Evans so should get it by the weekend.

Sure they will be in the sale when the 2013 models are out but could do with one before then and can't imagine they will be much <£420 then anyway.

Myself and my new Kouta Kharma are very happy. :D

I had a 2010 Trek 1.1 which I bought in the sale at Evans, and if my memory is correct, I'm sure I paid £420 for it so I'd be very pleased with that.

They're a good bike for the money, I only sold mine because it was too small for me. I do miss it though as it was my first road bike.

I do seem to get attached to my bikes, I miss them when I sell them on  is that strange?

  • One report says the gearing is a bit small at higher speed - any thoughts?

I'm about to sell a Cayo frame and I'll be sorry to see it go, even though I live the new frame a lot more - a little bit of a horder in all of us I think!?
