  • I was a Grifter rider myself:-)
Does anyone remember what the warning said on the Chopper seat? Something about no "chuckys". 4up on a chopper-2 on the seat,1 by the gears and 1 on the rack-happy days-the elf'n'safety police would be apoplectic if kids did that now:-(

How can anyone forget those hideous anti-cycles?

Countless thousands of people were convinced that a bicycle was no more than a child's toy by those things.

Collectors items you know - note it has the gear shift lever on the top tube (the recent ones do not).

I had one in silver with read writing and a Grifter in red after that which I had 3 days before someone pinched it, now that was a cool bike :P

They're not? Best clear them out of my toy cupboard (known to swmbo as the garage, for some reason. Can't think why. It's never had a car in it. No room)
