Replacement fork for 2003 Hardrock...

Im looking to replace my horrible RST Capa fork on my mint hardrock.
Its a lovely bike, and im getting back into riding on a budget so Im looking for a fork I can run with my current wheel and brake setup - its still got v-brakes.
Ive found some Suntour Raidon's with v brakes and it seems the other option is the Rockshox XC28.
Ive gathered that I should be steering clear of RS Darts and the Suntour XC range?
Any suggestions?
Thanks

The XC28 is the same as a Dart. The Raidon is a good fork for the money.0

People say nasty things about the dart forks. I had a pair of useless and worn out RST 281 on my old bike. No damping and a coil spring. A mate have me a dart 3 that he was not using due to trickle down replacement of other forks on his bikes. He gave them to me for the price of a round of beers that he shared mith me anyhow (now that is a mate!).
They are a dream compared to my old forks.
So my verdict is, if someone offered you a cheap or free set of darts and you are on a budget, take them and be happy. If you are buying new and paying full price, there are probably better forks for the money.
Another mate has suntour raidons on her bike and is very happy with them.0
