I couldn’t believe how good I felt while turning over the pedals.

Yeah, I read this too - "fair dinkum" as they say, but you're right, it looks like they've been attacked my a militia!

Mind you, I guess you're not truly pro until you've got some mis-matched equipment with the sponsors name blacked out with felt tip, eh?!
Cannondale Synapse 105, Giant Defy 3, Giant Omnium, Giant Trance X2, EMC R1.0, Ridgeback Platinum, On One Il Pompino...
  • I'd quite like a set of those... I've been reading up on them for a while. Anybody knw how to get them in the UK and a rough cost?
"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

I just thought I'd have a quick google just out of interest at how much they are. Annoyingly Chain Reaction Cycles have bought a keyword ad on Google for "Osymetric chainrings" when they don't sell anything of the sort. Seems a really pointless exercise, as I can't see anyone ordering a standard round chainring from them if they're after an Osymetric!

The net result is claimed to be 1% faster and is slightly more efficient when you are climbing than when on the flat. The difference is 0.9 km/hr when climbing, and 0.7km/hr when on the flat.

So your speed on the flat goes up from 70 km/h to 70.7 km/h ??
