Pah, Furious Freds are lighter and scarier than SB8s.
I'd say Racing Ralphs or Rocket Rons as a decent all round tyre. The former if you live somewhere rocky, the latter if not.0 -
I've used the Rocket Rons and find its a really good tyre in the dry used around wooded areas.
If you want something more all round and capable in the wet too try a Maxxis Ignitor. I find it has a even balance between grip and rolling resistance and does me fine unless its a real bog fest.0 -
What is a good all round tyre that is good in the wet? Tree roots, rocks etc etc. Im all over the shop on my tyres at the moment. May as well be riding on ice :X

Bonty XR4s are super sticky on wet rocks and roots.A Flock of Birds

I have 26x2.0 tyres right now. Do i have to get the exact same size again or will any fit? 2.20? 2.35?
Thanks0 -
Your cannondale wont take real fat tyres, so 2.2 is probably the max you can go with. but in theory, any size from about 1.5 > 2.2 will be fine. If you want the bontys, All Terrain Cycles have them for £45 delivered (a pair)A Flock of Birds
