guys I was wondering which mudguards and which width fit the equlibrium,as the front fork slightly tapers at the top,I am under the impression that 35mm would be a bit wide
any help appreciated

Go for "SKS Chromoplastic Road Mudguard Set Black 700x20-28 - Narrow" , you're right 35mm is too wide.
