Hi, I ordered a 120 mm SID RCT3, BUT the other day i noticed the set up guide on the legs dont actually say 120 on them, they just say 100 mm, unlike the picture of a SID RLT 120 i found online.
So do you think i have a 100 mm version? Or does anybody have a 2012 RCT3 they could check for me?

Got some pics, mines the White one.

Thanks

Well it's got the 120mm sag markings on it, could just be spaced down to 100mm. Would need to take it apart to check it though I guess.
  • It could just be as the person above me posted, the forks have already been spaced down, explaining why the 120 doesn't show up.

ahhh ok, when i did pull on the legs holding the bridge the markings still didn't have a 120 mm marking like the black 120, i was able to pull another 5mm from inside the fork and reveille the full etchings on stanchions. just don't look right, my friend has 100 and he noticed it, as his look no different to mine.

Still send them back if I were you. Why go through the hassle of changing the all travel spacers? Its a bit of a ball ache on SIDs.

Yeah 100 psi positive and negative, didn't seem to make a difference.

Problem solved, let some negative air and out it popped! the 120 mm etching!

    thanks all

For what its worth, my brand new Rock Shox forks had quite stiff seals and the internals took a while to bed in. I had to run the negative pressure much lower than normal. everything soon bedded in after a few rides and pressures returned to more typical settings.
