It was great to see Darren at the tea rooms in Burley today resplendent in Team GB kit, along with his silver and bronze medals from the London games. He was quite chilled out as they were passed around amongst the 50 odd roadies that were in for their cake stop. Mobile phone cameras snapping away at one and all having their picture taken with the medals and Darren. I had heard how heavy the medals were, but until you handle one you don't realise how much so. Quite a strange pattern on the medals as well, with the epitaph also repeated in Braille.
Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.
