Can't believe that people can be so cruel. I hope that these thugs get found and are punished, but they will probably get away with it.

More mindless arse wipes, hope someone catches up with them...preferably before the police to dish out a fitting punishment.

Absolutely sickening. This just makes you so angry. I don't know what I would of done if I'd come along on my bike and seen this. I'd probably be up for murder.0

Many years ago when I was kayak racing I was in a training group on the Thames approaching Teddington Lock.
Ahead of us was an old chap in a Canadian Canoe who was getting pelted with stones and rocks from a bunch of scumbags. Unfortunately (for them) the scumbags hadn't seen our "peleton" and we quietly pulled into the bank and came up behind said scumbags and walked them all out into the river. We were in shorts and vests... they were all fully dressed.“You may think that; I couldn’t possibly comment!”

Excellent! The punishment I mean obviously not the crime!
This country has gone to the dogs and it's because we are too soft and practically breed these animals by letting them do what they want.
I really do think sterilisation is possibly the only answer. An I know this is controversial but either bring back the death penalty or at very least toughen up the punishment given out to criminals.
The counter argument is always from some green peace liberal toff, but what about there human rights this and there human rights that. The same people who dont have to live side by side with this scum.
What about this poor blokes human rights eh? You have to be human IMO to qualify for human rights.0 -
Typical BBC lack of any description of the culprits in the report.I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.0

Utterly disgusting. Vermin like this should be rounded up and used to test cancer drugs. Then gassed.0

This is what you create when you remove the lawful ability of punishment- even by their own parents!
Remember- don't smack your kids! What's this now, the second/third generation of anyone under the age of 16 being untouchable?B'TWIN Triban 5A

The gang even kicked Mr Fitzgerald back into the water after twice offering to help him out during the ordeal near Dunstall Park racecourse in Wolverhampton.
It's not right but this did make me smile a bit - the rotten little b*stards!0 -
They must be local and go there quite a bit, shouldn't be too easy to find the scumbags0

I remember years and years ago, back in the 1970s, when I was a kid in America, and seeing a gang of out-of-town scumbags about to start in on some poor guy, also from out of town. But just then what should be coming down the road but a local lumberjack (this was in rural New England) in a big Dodge pick-up truck. The lumberjack (he was one of our neighbours) slammed on his brakes and leaped out of the cab with a huge chainsaw in his hands. THe scumbags hadn't noticed yet. The first moment they became aware of his presence was when he fired up that big McCullough of his and my God the wide-eyed looks on those scumbag's faces were just priceless when they realized a 6'5" lumberjack was approaching them with intent and revving up his chainsaw as he came. Never saw idiots run so fast.
It still does me good to recall it0 -

Of course in countries where penalties for crime are severe and human rights are not respected there is no crime. Oh. Wait...0

I do think the way some kids are brought up has a lot to do with it. Or rather how they're not brought up.
I once watched in disbelief as a teenage boy and his mate were being collected by his mother in a large expensive 4x4. The kid getting in the front tried to open the door before she had popped the central locking. His mate gets in the back with no drama, the little twunt trying to get into the front starts f'ing and blinding at the woman to unlock his door. Phrases like "Just open the f'ing door you stupid bitch!" and more. The woman got more and more flustered as she tried to unlock the door whilst sh1t for brains keeps impatiently pulling the handle and shouting.
If my son ever tried anything even approaching this with his mother he would have to walk home and would be in for a hell of a hard time. But, he wouldn't even consider it because when he was little we weren't afraid to tell him off. He now knows how to behave and how to treat other people.0 -
