I am carrying out a personal research project to explore how online and social media communications are being used to promote cycle safety. ANy feedback and views would be really appreciated. I have set out five questions to help me to compare responses. Thank you so much. My e mail address is nick-odonnell@hotmail.com
1. Please record any cycle safety campaigns or initiatives that are you aware of (adults, children, etc)?
2. How did you hear about and were kept informed about these (eg from fellow cyclists, newsletters, cycling magazines, radio/TV, online forums)
3. Have you been involved in any of these campaigns and if so what encouraged your involvement?
4. In your view, how effective were online and social media communications in promoting cycle safety (eg Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, bogs)?
Scoring: 5 = very effective, 4 = effective, 3 = neither effective or ineffective, 2 = ineffective, 1 = very ineffective
5. In your view, how effective were other communication channels, (eg TV, radio, print (newspapers etc)?
6. What changes wouldyou like to see introduced to improve cycle safety and how shouldthese be communicated?

Does this 2nd question not sway paricipants of your survey on question 1? Make sure you don't invalidate your research.0
