hi guys
been doing a bit of research but overwhelmed to be honest.
Have been using my dads old cannondale (bout 10 years old full suspension) been doin the job but love it so much I want to invest in my own new machine.
I have about 1100 pounds to spend but ideally would rather spend 800ish.
I am about 6 foot and 12.5 stone and will be riding trails with some road inbetween but only cause I have to so looking at all round bike but i do want full suspension.
been looking at this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=66769 about 800 quid as i dont pay vat. Would this be a decent starting place?
thanks for anyone taking the time to help a new and keen rider.

The Vitus looks like a great bike, I tool a look at one in store the other day's they also have one for 100 less with minor cosmetic damage in the 'recycled' section online0

Mate of mine rides a Super 4.2 and he loves it (and he rides so much better on it than his very old Trek hardtail) they never got amazing write ups, were rather overlooked in favour of the Meta 55 but for a 100mm travel bike at the xc end of trail riding they look good to me.Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0

okay after more research it looks like the Vitus Blitz 1 could be the one (literally)
I have changed the subject to this as this is the one in my sights at the moment.
If anyone else has any opinions on this bike please share I have read the review and it makes me want it more. This one sound s like it has the best spec for the price. I can see myself on it already.0 -
If you live in N.I. get over to the shop in Belfast and try it out. They also have some good deals on lapierre (for some reason their lapierre's are always sold in store only and never online).0
