Hi.
Can anyone advise as to whether I could run longer travel forks on trek fuel ex8 2010? If so what travel could I go upto and what affect will it have on geometry and any recommendations.
TIA

I know a few people running Revelations set to 130mm on 2010/2011 Fuel's. They seem happy with it.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

usually you;re ok to add 10mm but if you ask Trek (as I did) they'll say no extension at all.0

Giant say the same thing for all their bikes but loads of people run the Trance with a 140mm fork. I asked Giant about fitting a 170mm fork to my Reign X2 and even though they fit 170mm 36's to the Reign X0 (same frame) and Reign SX (also same frame) they said it would invalidate my warrenty. Specialized are a bit more sensible.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
