Sticker reside removal
I've got a specialized road bike and it had one of those manufacturers stickers on the top tube near the end where it meets the seat post, I removed it although a square of gluey resideue was left. I have washed the bike numerous times and it still won't budge, I don't want to use petrol or anything too heavy duty as its a gloss paint finish.
Any ideas?

wd40 works well0

I used Sticky Stuff Remover from Halfords, spray on, leave and wipe, does need a firm wipe though. Sprays on like a gel, so doesn't go everywhere.0

Alreet!
I can completely recommend a tub of these cleaning wipes from Toolstation:
http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Cleanin ... 260/sd3257
They're brilliant for all kinds of stuff, from adhesives, to oil/grease, and also do all sorts of stuff like paints and silicones etc etc.
They're a great thing to have to hand, particularly when washing your bike. I use them to clean the chain/cassette/chain rings and everything!
The good thing about them is they're solvent free so won't damage paint work/components at all!
Well worth the fiver or so that they cost for a tub of about 80 wipes!
I should get commission from toolstation for the way I rave about these things, but they are bloomin' ace!!!!

try heating it with a hair dryer. this might soften up the gluey residue and make it easier to remove.1998 Kona Cindercone in singlespeed commute spec
