Hi there
I'm totally new to mountain biking, the last few years have been spent with motocross bikes. Anyway, I bought a brand new Hardrock Sport the other week and had a problem with punctures right away. The question is, should I be able to take the tyres off using just a couple off fingers......I keep reading on forums about tyre levers and was making me think that the tyres fitted to mine might be a wee bit big on the rims...???? Is this normal.

some people can and some can not.

the tyres will be the the right size. some are tighter than others on different rims.

very normal, i've used 3 different types of spesh tyre on mine, and all have been very easy to take off with just your fingers
