im thinking of changing my sora triple 9speed 3403 chainset, for an ultegra 6703 triple chainset 10 speed on my trek 1.5 my bottom bracket at the moment is a tigra 4600, but the ultegra uses a ultegra bottom bracket, what is the difference between them, they are both 68mm english thread.

If your existing chainset needs replacing and the Ultegra is a good price then sure.

But if you are just replacing it hoping it will make a massive difference to your cycling then forget it.

It is 3 grades up the shimano range (and ony DA is higher) so it will be better - just not 5 mins off your PB better.
    Yellow is the new Black.
