Wow!!! That really is my dream bike collection - may I ask how on earth are you so successful as to own all of these beauties?

    Road - Dolan Preffisio
    MTB - On-One Inbred

I have no idea what's going on here.
  • Holy crap! Can I have one? Please?

Oh f*ck off! Deciding on which one of those to ride is like saying which wife shall i sleep with tonight...Kelly Brook, Cheryl Cole or Michelle Keegan.

    Nice stuff.

It appears you have 3x summer bikes, 2x winter bikes, 1x track bike, and 1x TT bike, so my question to you is where is the CX bike?
    English Cycles V3 | Cervelo P5 | Cervelo T4 | Trek Domane Koppenberg
  • Get out.

    Just kidding. Lovely collection.

Similar to what I think of when I dream of how I'd spend my lottery winnings. Although I'd have a Ti bike and maybe a Colnago C40.

No, that's not a problem. The aesthetics on that C59 as a whole are pretty ugly though. The wheels don't go, nor the seatpost (unless matched with other silver bits) or the stem and the saddle just looks silly on any road bike. Shame 'cos it's a nice frame.
  • Hey thanks guys. I don't get to ride anywhere near as much as I'd like, but its always a treat when I do :) I used to have loads more, but slowly got rid of them to friends etc, due to pressure from her indoors.

I've got a few old retro rides kicking about too, and... in the process of building something really, really special, so watch this space!

Agree with EKIMIKE, the seatpost and saddle look garbage on the C59 and I've changed these since the pics were taken. Don't mind the handlebars or wheels though.

If anyone knows of an original Lotus 110 superbike (ala Chris Boardman) for sale, please let me know, would love one in a big glass cabinet in the entrance foyer at my office :D

  • Very nice collection!

What do you do for a living?
  • Sitting here in my office trying to be positive but absolutely seething with jealousy....
  • Hi guys, I'm flattered by the comments but I'm really just a normal guy with a wife and kids etc. I don't smoke, don't drink (much), and am too busy at work to lead an 'exotic' lifestyle (god, I sound like a right bundle of fun), so I spend my surplus cash on things that make me happy :)

It helps that I used to be a pretty good rider a long time ago, so still have a load of contacts and can buy most bike stuff at trade prices, so factor that most of the above stuff would probably cost me 60% of what it is in the shops and it's not too bad.

My latest toy is a brand new in the box Specialized Tarmac SL4, but I want to have it resprayed a really funky colour scheme and I can't find anyone interested :( Spoke to Argos, and they just said 'we're too busy doing steel stuff call back in a few months'... so at the min I might end up just building it up in its original Saxo bank colours :(

There was one for sale in the comic (Cycling Weekly) maybe a month or so ago... I doubt I've still got the magazine at home, but will have a check.

    Nice bikes btw.
