Removing Truvativ bb external cups

Truvativ Firex self-extracting crankset with external bb cups. Reomved cranks ok but found the drive side cup is bigger on the outside so the removal tool does not fit. Am I missing something? :?

Which tool do you have exactly?0

The Park Tool one. It fits the NDS fine but not the DS.0

No damage at all to cup or indents. I thought the tool would fit but it doesn't unless I'm going doo-lally.0

all external BBs use the same size tool.
