  • DeFeet Woolie Boolies - choose 1 size up from normal in my experience. You just missed a great DeFeet socks offer but shop around. Any Merino sock will be good but these are especially good

Another vote for the Woolie Boolies here. First ride in colder temps today, they were lovely.

Another vote for Woolie Boolies but the Prendas look good.

Just as an aside, do Prendas use the nextdoor neighbour's kid to design their Website?

It's awful isn't it. But their stuff is great as is their service and that's all that really counts.

They come in loads of diff colours and have useful grippy pads on the soles.

Not to mention you'll look so fly with them poking over your shoes.

Yes +1, I use them most of the year unless it's really hot, got them on now infact.

Regarding the website, I would rather have the service and products that they deliver than a swish website and rubbish customer service and products that fall apart or don't do what they say they will.

They will even correct an order going by your measaurements you put in if the thing you are ordering is in a wierd size as they sell a lot of Italian stuff
  • Woolie Boolies it is then. Thanks.

Smartwool Light Hikers. They're pretty much the only socks I've worn for a decade and are just the bee's knees. Very comfortable, never smell, handle heat and cold equally well. Pro tip: get 10 pairs and you never have to think about matching socks up after washing ;)

I made the mistake of getting 3 pairs of identical Gore Oxygen socks which are also handed. Mathematics would say that even if Mrs MRS manages to to bundle two left socks together and two right socks together, the third pair should be a proper L&R pair - but they never are. How does that happen? Drives me mental!

If you need thin warm socks (not got the biggest shoes), then the BBB Thermolite socks are excellent! However you may struggle to find BBB in the UK...
