Hi guys,

Wonder if someone can help me... I'm getting to be pretty handy around the bike but have never replaced the gear cables before and treated myself with some new ones and now I find I have lots of little 'bits' with these XTR cables but (shamefully) not much clue where they should go

A little assistance please? :)

many thanks,

Dan

  • They are cable end caps that are to be crimped on

Probably not. XTR come with rubber things that slot into 'extended' plastic end caps, to help keep muck out.

  • Well yes. But when a post is changed and metal removed from sentence, it would appear that way
