Reynolds steel equivalents

Hi, could anybody tell me what the equivalent tubesets are to Reynolds 753, 853 and 953. Such as columbus and Deddaccia. Thanks for any information.

Columbus Spirit is roughly the equivalent of 853 while XCR is similar to 953

Thanks for that, just interested in buying a steel road bike and trying whats out there, although the 853 is my favourite in my price range at the moment.

the columbus catalogue lists some details on their tubesets, uts etc., that you can use to compare to the numbers in the reynolds data...

as above, xcr is the closest to 953, there are some differences in material performance, but also the xcr tubes are seamless, whereas i think the 953 are not
