moda rubato or gt gtr series 2???

Sold my 2010 gt gtr series 4 an hour ago and have to say what a great wee first bike it was, i think one of the above will take its place but not sure which one will be the best value for the money....any advice please would be a great help.

    Moda gets great reviews and has £300 wheels on it. Its also British so if you live in UK then that has to be a draw.

    Well that is the compromise - bikes are always a compromise, especially at the money level you talking.

    The compromise with the GT will be the wheels.

    Best thing to do it test ride them both - ultimately the only compromise you should not make is fit. All bikes under £1000 will be very similar in overall package terms, you just need to get the one that a) Fits and b) you like the look of.

    As a general rule I would always go for the best frame I could get for the money as the other stuff is all replaceable.

    Neither are significantly worse than the other so Fit Fit FIt is the key.
